SHARP X68000 EMULATOR ROMS SOFTWARE
The X68000 came with a soft-on power button, this feature meant that the main power supply could always be on and the front-mounted power switch would only signal the machine to shut down, giving software time to save, shutdown and then fade out the sound and the screen, such feature made it a precursor to most modern operating systems. One of the most striking features about the system was the case, which was a two-halved tower bisected by a click-in/out carrying handle, making it more similar to mainframe computer than a PC. Released around the same time as the Amiga and Atari ST, it was way ahead of both of its competitors in terms of design and capability. Being that it was made by Sharp's consumer electronics department it was sold in the same stores that sold TVs, as opposed to computer shops. The Sharp X68000 is a 16/32-bit home computer released only in Japan by Sharp Corporation in 1987 and ran on an operating system called Human68k.
